Canada might never score again — or at least it seems that way.

Just look at the numbers: No goals through five international matches, no goals through the run of play in six consecutive Gold Cup games, winless in nine international fixtures dating back to a World Cup qualifying victory against Cuba last October.

Needing a win Sunday afternoon for a chance to advance to the Gold Cup quarterfinals, the Canadians put up yet another goose egg in a draw with Panama, a result that saw the Central Americans finish top of Group A and Canada disperse early for a second straight Gold Cup.
