The Canadian women's soccer team closed out an eight-day European camp with a 1-0 exhibition loss to England Sunday in Rotherham.

England's Ellen White scored in the 92nd minute to hand Canada the loss in a rematch of the 2013 Cyprus Cup final. Canada also posted a 1-1 draw with France during the trip.

"We are still trying some new things, so it may take us awhile to gel, but we are lucky because we have two or three years before we play in that FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada," Canadian coach John Herdman said. "It is nice to be able to test a few things at this stage."

Kadeisha Buchanan was Canada's player of the match against England, while Diana Matheson made her 150th appearance for the national team.
