Eden Hazard had a rough night for Chelsea in their League Cup game in Swansea on Wednesday.
Hazard received a red card for kicking a ball boy who was covering up the game ball in the 78th minute.
The ball boy apparently pounced on the ball after it went out for a Swansea goal kick.
Chelsea's official Twitter account responded swiftly: "Has football gone mad? Hazard is sent off for kicking the ball under a ball boy attempting to smother the ball rather than return it. #CFC".
Chelsea lost 2-0 on aggregate to Swansea City in the League Cup semifinal.
