CARSON, CALIF. - It was the storybook ending the L.A. Galaxy had hoped for -- and most expected here Saturday afternoon.
After a first-half strike from the Houston Dynamo's Calen Carr provided the visitors a shock halftime lead in Major League Soccer's 17th Cup, second-half goals from Omar Gonzalez, Landon Donovan and Robbie Keane lifted the Galaxy to a 3-1 MLS Cup win in front of more than 30,000 inside the Home Depot Center.
