Blackburn manager pleads guilty to drunk driving
By SPORTS NETWORK

BLACKBURN, ENGLAND - Blackburn manager Steve Kean pleaded guilty to drunk driving on Monday, earning the Rovers boss an 18-month driving ban and a fine of $2,950.

The incident took place in May after Blackburn's match with Manchester United as Kean failed a breath test hours after the game.

The 43-year-old was almost twice the legal limit, although he had claimed his drink was spiked.

But shortly before his trial was set to begin, Kean changed his plea to guilty of driving with excess alcohol.
