Beckham, Henry highlight MLS First XI

David Beckham and Thierry Henry highlighted Major League Soccer's First XI announced Sunday for the All-Star Game against Manchester United on July 27.

Landon Donovan, Sean Franklin and Omar Gonzalez joined Beckham from the Los Angeles Galaxy, who led all teams with four players on the First XI. New York was second with three selections, as Rafa Marquez and Tim Ream joined Henry on the team.

Jack Jewsbury (Portland Timbers), Kasey Keller (Seattle Sounders FC), Brek Shea (FC Dallas) and Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes) were the other players selected.

Donovan and Henry are currently tied for the MLS lead with eight goals, while Beckham is second in MLS with eight assists.

Following is the First XI by position:

Goalkeeper: Kasey Keller (Seattle Sounder FC).

Defenders: Sean Franklin (Los Angeles Galaxy), Omar Gonzalez (Los Angeles Galaxy), Rafa Marquez (Red Bull New York), Tim Ream (Red Bull New York).

Midfielders: David Beckham (Los Angeles Galaxy), Jack Jewsbury (Portland Timbers), Brek Shea (FC Dallas).

Forwards: Landon Donovan (Los Angeles Galaxy), Thierry Henry (Red Bull New York), Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes).
