Tottenham manager facing charges
By Sports Network

LONDON, England -- Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp's bid to have a tax evasion charge dropped has failed, leaving him to stand trial later this year along with Redknapp's former Portsmouth bosses Peter Storrie and Milan Mandaric.

Redknapp and former owner Mandaric are facing charges related to their alleged evasion of public revenue payments totaling around $65,000, while Storrie's charge is related to the contract termination fee of Portsmouth midfielder Eyal Berkovic.

The trial of the 62-year-old Redknapp will take place in July.
