Playboy pin-up takes over Polish soccer team

A former Playboy model has come to the rescue of a struggling Polish soccer team.

Izabela Lukomska-Pyzalska, 33, has been named chairwoman of her beloved Warta Poznan after agreeing to pump cash into the team to keep them from bankruptcy.

And the retired model insists she won't be intimidated by Polish soccer's all-male world after experiencing discrimination as the boss of a construction firm.

She tells People.com, "That's hardly a woman's world either. I don't have a light touch in the construction sector. I'll be looking for the same things in football: order and discipline."

After benching Brad Richards should the New York Rangers eventually just buy him out?
  Yes.
  Might be a good idea.
  No.
  Not sure.
