Ronaldinho to return to Brazil
By Sports Network

MILAN, Italy -- AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri confirmed on Wednesday that Ronaldinho is set for a return to Brazil.

Gremio is the reported destination for the 30-year-old, which is his hometown club and the team he left in 2001 to join French side PSG.

"We are all sorry to lose a player of the quality of Ronaldinho. But he has made a life choice by going to Brazil," Allegri said at a press conference on Wednesday.

There are reports in Brazil that Ronaldinho has returned to his home country to sign a three-and-a-half-year deal with Gremio, although Milan has yet to confirm that any deal has been made.

Ronaldinho has seemingly lost his place in the Milan lineup with the club having signed Antonio Cassano from Sampdoria a few days ago, while he has made just seven starts in Milan's first 17 league matches so far this season.
