Stuttgart axes manager
By Sports Network

STUTTGART, Germany -- Stuttgart fired manager Jens Keller on Sunday after just two months on the job and has replaced him with Bruno Labbadia.

Keller took over for Christian Gross in October after being promoted from his role as assistant coach.

Stuttgart claimed seven points from Keller's first four matches in charge, but the last win came Nov. 7, and after losing 2-1 to Hannover on Friday the club dropped into 17th place in the 18-team Bundesliga.

Labbadia previously coached in the Bundesliga with both Bayer Leverkusen and Hamburg, and his first match in charge of the club will come on Thursday against Odense in the Europa League before a league match with Bayern Munich on Sunday.
