By Sports Network

MOTHERWELL, Scotland -- Craig Brown stepped down as manager of Scottish Premier League club Motherwell on Friday, and is expected to become new manager of Aberdeen.

Brown and assistant Archie Knox both left Motherwell, which is currently fifth in the SPL, and are expected to join 11th-place Aberdeen. The Dons fired coach Mark McGhee last week.

Aberdeen has just three wins and 10 points and is off the bottom of the league only on goal differential.

The Vancouver Canucks should replace ex-coach Alain Vigneault with...
  Guy Boucher.
  Lindy Ruff.
  Andy Murray.
  Jacques Martin.
  Brent Sutter.
  Don Hay.
  Other.
