Mourinho receives touchline ban
By Sports Network

MADRID -- Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho was handed a two-match touchline ban on Friday after he was dismissed during his team's 5-1 win over Real Murcia in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.

Mourinho was sent to the stands in the 38th minute by referee Jose Luis Paradas Romero after the Portuguese manager protested a bit too much.

As a result, the Spanish Football Federation has responded with a two-match suspension, meaning Mourinho will miss Sunday's match at Sporting Gijon as well as next weekend's game with Athletic Bilbao.
