Fabregas set for Arsenal return
By Sports Network

LONDON -- Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas returned to training for Arsenal on Monday and could be fit to take his place on the team for Tuesday's Champions League match with Shakhtar Donetsk.

Fabregas has missed the past month because of a hamstring injury, and although he is expected to be at full fitness on Tuesday, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said that the 23-year-old is not assured of a place in the starting 11.

Winger Theo Walcott is also expected to be on the team, although he is likely to start on the bench, while the club is still without injured defenders Laurent Koscielny and Thomas Vermaelen.

The Gunners enter Tuesday's match tied atop Group H with Shakhtar as both clubs have won their first two games.
