MUNICH -- Bayern Munich's injury list got even longer on Wednesday as it was revealed that both striker Miroslav Klose and midfielder Mark van Bommel will miss the club's next two matches.
Both players were injured while on international duty this past week, with Klose suffering a thigh injury in Germany's 3-0 win over Kazakhstan and Van Bommel out because of a knee problem he sustained in the Netherlands 4-1 victory over Sweden.
Bayern is already without Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, while Bastian Schweinsteiger and Ivica Olic have also been added to the list of players who are unlikely to take part in Saturday's Bundesliga match with Hannover.
The club is also in action next Tuesday against CFR Cluj in the Champions League, with most of the injured players not likely to take part in the that match either.
Bayern enters the weekend in 12th place in the Bundesliga table, 13 points behind leaders Mainz.
