Stuttgart fires manager
By Sports Network

STUTTGART, Germany -- Stuttgart parted ways with manager Christian Gross on Wednesday after he guided the club to a poor start to the new Bundesliga season.

Gross helped lead the team from the relegation zone to sixth place last season after taking over for Markus Babbel, but he has led Stuttgart to only one win in its first seven league games, leaving the club at the bottom of the table.

"Following detailed analysis of the current sporting situation, Christian Gross has been relieved of his duties as head coach of Stuttgart with immediate effect," read a club statement.

"From today [Wednesday], Jens Keller will take charge of the first team and prepare the side for their away clash with Schalke on Saturday."

Is the season lost for the Toronto Blue Jays or is there still time to turn things around?
Plenty of time to get it turned around
They're quickly running out of time
It's lost. When do the Argos start?
It was over before it began
