German soccer player Peter Niemeyer got busted looking like a boob on live TV.

Actually, it was more like feeling a boob.

The Hertha Berlin centre back was shown on camera swiping the breast of female official Bibiana Steinhaus during a recent Bundesliga Second Division game against Alemania Aachen.

“I meant to give her a pat on the back,” Niemeyer told Metro.co.uk. “She was standing a bit further away than I thought.”

Steinhaus is the first female professional German soccer referee. The match was also her first broadcasted on television.

Luckily for Niemeyer, she saw the funny side of the situation and no penalty was called on the play.
