LONDON -- Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted to a charge of using insulting and/or abusive language and improper conduct Tuesday and received a one-match ban and $12,440 fine from the Football Association.
Wenger confronted officials after Arsenal's 1-1 draw at Sunderland on Saturday after Darren Bent scored the tying goal in the 95th minute for the hosts.
Wenger will serve the one-match ban on Tuesday night in a Carling Cup fixture against Tottenham.
