Carson, CA Ė The Kansas City Wizards got second-half goals from Kei Kamara and Teal Bunbury to earn a 2-0 victory at Chivas USA on Sunday night in Major League Soccer action at The Home Depot Center.
With the win, the Wizards (8-9-6) move within six points of the eight and final spot - currently held by Seattle - in the upcoming MLS Cup playoffs, although K.C. has two games in hand on the Sounders.

The first half was uneventful, with both teams clogging up the field in a cautious opening 45 minutes.
The Wizards finally broke through in the 70th minute after a brilliant individual effort from Kamara. After Michael Harrington played a ball into the Goats' area, Kamara headed it over the center back to himself and fired his career-high ninth goal of the season past goalkeeper Zach Thornton.
Wizards rookie Bunbury scored an insurance goal in the 83rd minute when he outran defender Michael Umana to a ball played into space in the area, and powered a shot past Thornton for his third goal of the season.
