Vancouver Whitecaps' head coach Teitur Thordarson could know by this morning whether Jeff and the two Wesleys are available for Friday's visit by the Miami FC Blues.

Starting defenders Jeff Parke, Wes Knight and Wes Charles departed early and in pain from Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Montreal Impact in USL-1 play.

Charles is the Whitecaps' defensive general. Former New York Red Bull Parke has been a quiet presence in the back line. Knight rebounded from a shaky pre-season to become an early contender for USL rookie of the year.

"It's bad actually," Thordarson said. "Wesley got a very bad kick on the hip. He's having X-rays (Monday) morning. Jeff has a problem with his toe, he has been struggling. Wes Knight, he has an ankle problem and that might put him out for a while."

The Impact paid extra attention to Knight on Sunday after the College of Charleston, S.C. product repeatedly fed crosses into the Montreal penalty area during Nutrilite Canadian Championship play.
