Richard Goddard has back-to-back shutouts since becoming the Vancouver Whitecaps' starting goalkeeper.

Goddard made seven saves in Vancouver's 1-0 win over Miami FC on Friday in Florida. It was his first action since Tony Caig's mysterious "personal reasons" departure for his native England last week.

Striker Eduardo Sebrango scored with three minutes left in regulation for the win.

Yesterday, the 'Caps battled to a scoreless draw against the Islanders in Puerto Rico.

In women's play, Tiffeny Milbrett scored twice and assisted twice in the Whitecaps women's 4-1 road win over Fort Collins Force on Friday. The Whitecaps meet Real Colorado Cougars tonight.
