As if American skier Lindsey Vonn needed more attention.
Less than two weeks after a scary crash saw the 28-year-old Olympic gold medallist airlifted from the Alpine World Championships in Schladming, Austria, Vonn is getting more press for her looks – only this time the images aren’t so pretty.
“My knee looks...um...not very good,” she wrote to her personal Instagram account on the weekend.
Based on the photo she paired with the posting, that’s putting it lightly.
In addition to tearing her anterior-cruciate and medial-collateral knee ligaments in the crash, Vonn broke a bone in her lower leg, injuries that ended her season.
Prior to this month’s wreck, Vonn had taken a break for a month to recover after suffering from an intestinal illness last November.
The skier’s name also made headlines earlier this year after reportedly entering into a relationship with Tiger Woods.
