Kelsey Serwa wins silver in ski cross
By QMI Agency

Kelsey Serwa completed a stunning double pass in the ladies' ski cross final to claim silver in Megeve, France, on Wednesday.

The reigning ski cross world champion was sitting at the back of the pack before making her move near the bottom of the course that allowed her to go from fourth to second.

The 23-year-old from Kelowna, B.C., earned her second podium of the ski cross World Cup season.

"The final was really exciting," said Serwa. "All the girls were pretty strong out of the start and it was pretty even."

Germany's Anna Woerner took the win, while French veteran Ophelie David was third.
