COP competition last one for Jennifer Heil
By QMI Agency

Jenn Heil is walking away from the hill.

Canada's mogul queen announced this weekend's World Cup event at Canada Olympic Park will be her final competition on home soil.

"It feels amazing to say it out loud," Heil said at Tuesday's press conference at COP.

"This will be my last competition, my last World Cup at home.

"I felt this was the right time (to announce the retirement)."

Heil, from Spruce Grove, Alta., will finish the season, which includes next weekend's world championships in Utah.

The 27-year-old plans to go back to school at McGill University, as well as continue working with her many charities.

Do you think the officiating has been fair in the Kings-Sharks series?
  Yes
