GLASGOW, SCOTLAND - Every time Reg Milley watches an event at these Commonwealth Games he feels the same sensation.

“It's like my head is spinning,” said the chairman of the Edmonton 2022 Commonwealth Games bid committee. “My head is swimming with all sports and venues. What gets in? What goes where? It really is overwhelming.”

When Milley and committee return from here they’ll begin work on the bid book, due March 2. What sports do you select to put into the book along with the 10 core sports?

“You remember the old adage about drinking from a fire hose? That's pretty much it,” Milley said.

It didn't used to be like this when Milley was CEO of the Edmonton International Airport.

He was taking in boxing on Monday thinking:

“Beach volleyball? Should that be introduced?” he laughed.
