CALGARY - Canada may consider the U.S. an ally in almost every walk of life, but on the fields and rinks where the countries’ national sports teams go head-to-head, there’s no place for niceties.

Especially not in rugby.

“There’s a lot of pride we bring to the game, so it’s always a tough battle no matter what,” said Calgarian Nick Blevins.

“There’s a huge rivalry there because it’s north-south and we’re pretty even in the world rankings.
