The show will go on after all.

Officials at the Calgary Stampede have announced the “greatest outdoor show on Earth” will start as planned on July 5 despite serious damage to the Stampede grounds from flooding.

Officials expect most of the grounds will be usable.

The Stampede Parade will also go ahead, though its route may be altered, officials said.

They're also still hoping the buckled C-Train will be repaired in time for the festivities.
