Jennifer Abel grabs second silver of season By QMI Agency

Jennifer Abel won a three-way battle for second place in the three-metre springboard to grab a silver medal in Dubai Friday.

Abel won her first silver of the FINA World Series diving circuit last week in Beijing, China.

The silver was bittersweet for Abel, who scored 25 less points Friday than in Beijing.

“It was a more difficult final for me,” she said. “There are lots of areas to improve but overall it is going well. Apart from today, my scores this year reflect that I’m already at the same level as when I completed my season last year after the Olympics, so it’s very encouraging.”
