Canadian divers Filion and Benfeito get silver By QMI Agency

Canadian divers Roseline Filion and Meaghan Benfeito won the silver medal in the women's 10-metre synchro event at the FINA World Series stop in Beijing Friday.

Filion and Benfeito, the Olympic bronze medallists in London, finished with 316.71 points. Ruolin Chen and Huixia Liu of China won gold with 351.78 points while Yulia Koltunova and Natalia Goncharova of Russia were third at 316.56.

Jennifer Abel and Pamela Ware of Canada finished fifth in the women's three-metre synchro. This is the first year Abel and Ware have partnered.
