Allen Iverson Jr. (not that Allen Iverson) lives in Richardson, Texas, with his wife Rebecca. They love to play golf together, and their 19th wedding anniversary was on Friday.

So what did they do to celebrate?

Well, they did what any Texas couple that loves golf would do. They travelled to Beausejour for the season-opening Canadian Power Toboggan Championships, where Iverson is competing this weekend in the Outlaw 600 class.

Huh? What in the world is he doing in Beausejour?

“I’m sure she’s thinking the same thing,” Iverson’s friend, Rich Bickle Jr., said with a laugh while gesturing towards Rebecca.

It was 20 C on Saturday afternoon in Richardson, a northern suburb of Dallas, and it was a fresh -14 C with a wind chill that made it feel like -20 in Beausejour.

And there was no place in the world Iverson would have rather been.
