U de M running back banned

Olivier Reniere, a running back with the University of Montreal Carabins, has been banned for two years for the use of the drug 19-norandrosterone, the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport announced Wednesday.
Reniere failed an out-of-competition urine test Aug. 23. He waived his right to a hearing.
The CCES has conducted more than 600 doping control tests on CIS football players since March 31, 2010, and has found 16 violations.
