Team Canada showed signs of improvement but still lost another match.

Argentina defeated the Canucks 3-1 (25-15, 25-23, 21-25, 26-24) at the Pan Am Cup women’s volleyball tournament in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, late Saturday.

Ontario’s Sarah Pavan led Canada with 16 points and B.C.’s Kyla Richey added 12.

Canada was scheduled to play Mexico late Sunday.
