A teen girl in Australia has released naked photos of members of a professional Australian rules football team after she says one of the players got her pregnant.
The girl, who has not been named, released photos of St. Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt, Zac Dawson and Nick Dal Santo on her Facebook page Monday, the Herald Sun newspaper reports. St. Kilda is part of the Australian Football League.
Riewoldt, 28, admits the photos of him are real; however, he denies knowing the girl who posted them.
"For the record, I have never met the person that published the photograph on Facebook or who owns the Facebook site. That a person I have no association with has sought to impugn me is the cause of great distress to myself, my girlfriend, my family and my friends," he said in a statement during a press conference, which is also posted on the team's website.
"These photographs were private photographs and we believe they have been obtained without any knowledge or consent."
He said his teammate, Sam Gilbert, snapped the photo more than 12 months ago in Miami. He said he thought Gilbert had deleted the photos, but that clearly wasn't the case.
In a statement on the team's website, Gilbert admitted the photos were from his computer and Victoria police have launched an investigation.
The original video of the girl, which was posted to ustream.tv, has since been removed. A second video posted Wednesday morning shows just a yogurt cup and the girl can be heard off-camera saying five more photos may be released at Melbourne Airport Thursday.
Reading song lyrics in the video, the girl says, "I told you all not to f--- with me."
The Australian Associated Press reported the girl released the photos because the players and the team didn't take her seriously when she claimed one of the players got her pregnant.
Lawyers for the team will be in court Thursday.
