It's hard enough to run in a relay, but to do it in stiletto heels? That's another story.

Brittney McGlone, Laura Juliff, Casey Hodges and Jessica Penny -- known as The Pinkettes -- won the Venus Embrace Closest Stiletto Race at Sydney's Circular Quay in Australia on Tuesday and broke the Guiness record in one minute and four seconds.

So what was their trick?

"If you run on your toes, the heel doesn't even touch the ground so it's just like sprinting," one racer told ITN news.

The race drew over 100 competitors including one male, raising $20,000 for breast cancer research.

Besides the record, the Pinkettes were also awarded $10,000 in prize money which they say will be used to go to Thailand for a holiday.
