Who's going to win the 2009 Rangeland Derby Crown?

Here's a look at the contenders for tonight's final run at the Calgary Stampede:

- Kelly Sutherland

The King wants his place in the history books.

A win tonight would give Sutherland a record-setting 11th Rangeland Derby crown. He currently shares the mark with Dick Cosgrave.

The Grande Prairie driver is in the big race for the 18th time -- another record -- and will be tough to beat, even though he's coming off the No. 3 barrel.

- Chad Harden

The Mulhurst Bay driver is making his debut in the big race.

Harden overcame mid-week outriding penalties to work his way back into contention at the Stampede.

He had a day-money run off the No. 4 can, but faces long odds to come away with the big cheque tonight after drawing the same spot for today's race.

- Tyler Helmig

It's been 13 years since the big Leduc driver last qualified for the Final Four at the Calgary Stampede.

He was second to champion Edgar Baptiste in 1996.

Helmig suffered some major injuries in a crash at the 2007 Rangeland Derby, but is back and on top of his game.

Helmig scored the rail in last night's draw and it will take a serious run to track him down.

- Mark Sutherland

Mr. Clean won't take himself out of it with a careless penalty.

Sutherland was the only driver to go penalty-free through eight nights of qualifying.

He's making his first appearance in a race his dad, Kelly, has dominated for decades. The 38-year-old is coming off the No. 2 barrel.
