A blockbuster three-team trade has sent goalie Steve Dietrich, the 2006 National Lacrosse League MVP, west to Calgary.

The Roughnecks also receive defencemen Kyle Couling and Ian Llord.

In return, Taylor Wray and Jason Crosbie head to the Philadelphia Wings.

The Wings then shipped leading scorer Sean Greenhalgh to the Buffalo Bandits, who will receive Calgary's first-round pick in the September draft and a second rounder next year's selection process.

In a separate transaction, the NLL champion Rochester Knighthawks have moved forward Mike Accursi to the Edmonton Rush in exchange for their 2009 first-round draft pick.

ROCK PROTECTS 12

The Toronto Rock protected Josh Sanderson, Blaine Manning, Bob Watson and Jim Veltman for next Tuesday's NLL expansion draft to stock the new Boston team, but stalwarts like Matt Shearer, Patrick Merrill and Dan Ladouceur will be up for grabs.
