Jerry Bremner is the man to beat.

For the second consecutive night, the Westerose driver posted the fastest time at the WPCA Dodge Pro Tour's Grande Prairie Stompede.

Last night, he roasted the No. 2 barrel and guided his TrailBlazer RV rig around the oval in 1:15.87.

Bremner said he got off to a late start in spring training but it hasn't seemed to bother his barn.

"We didn't put in the days that a lot of guys do," Bremner said. "Because of the snow, I didn't get started until April 23rd.

"But it seems to have worked because the horses have come running."

The 2003 world champion also credited a new product, Omega Alpha, he's been giving his horses for the past year.

"I've really seen the results with the horses," he said of the herbal supplement.

Luke Tournier (Borek Construction) was the second-fastest on the night at 1:17.49, followed by Rae Croteau Jr. (Lincoln County Oilfield Services).

Bremner holds a commanding lead of 3.99 seconds over second-place Croteau in the aggregate standings after two nights. Kirk Sutherland (Pipestone Carriers) and Troy Flad (Basnett Truck Services) round out the top four.
