Medal detector, anyone?
So, Emilie Heymans, where is your Olympic bronze medal? The Canadian diver had a blank look on her face when asked the question yesterday, after placing third in the first day of the women's 10-metre platform event.
She took a few seconds before answering.
"I don't know," she said. "Wait, it's right here ... it's in my pocket."
Turns out, she had forgotten to take the medal out of the side pocket of her white Canadian warmup suit after winning it on Monday. She turned red when she found it.
