SOCHI, Russia - Matchups are a concern for a hockey coach.

For Mikhail Chekanov, the coach of the Russian women’s hockey team, he’s working on some off the ice matchups, too, specifically between his players and those on the Russian men’s team.

Chekanov plans to talk to Zinetula Bilyaletdinov, his counterpart with the men’s team, about some joint activities.

“They know many of the (men) players already, of course, but, on the other hand, some will get better acquainted,” said Chekanov, as quoted by the Olympic News Service. “All of a sudden, somebody might fall in love.”
