LAS VEGAS - They haven't picked out their streets, their recreation centres, their parks and their playgrounds yet.

“No. But we did talk about that, though,” laughed second E.J. Harnden.

“I know Brad Gushue and his team all had streets named after them in St. John's, Newfoundland,” he said of when Gushue, who also had a recreation complex, a park and a playground named after him following his Olympic gold medal win at Torino 2006.

“We need to go and get the job done first,” said Harnden deciding to go no further with the subject.

In their first regular curling competition games since Brad Jacobs team became Canada's Olympic team, they'd made themselves the gold medal favorites not just because of the maple leaf of their back but because of wins over Niklas Edin, Thomas Ulsrud and a tie with David Murdoch here.

The Soo Crew plays Ulsrud in the skins game final here Sunday evening.
