Dare Canadians whisper the sacred "t-word?"

Ok, we'll do it for them.

"Threepeat."

Admittedly, for various reasons there are doubts that NHLers will compete in the 2018 Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. But given the way the 2014 gold medallists from Canada thrilled this entire country, it's never too early to peer into the crystal ball and think about what the Olympic team might look like four years down the road, whether NHLers end up playing there or not.

While Sidney Crosby and Steven Stamkos are shoo-ins, how good will talented kids like Erie's Connor McDavid and Barrie's Aaron Ekblad be by then? They haven't even been drafted into the NHL yet, but you never know.

Here is a look at 30 potential candidates who would be worthy of invites to a Canadian Olympic training camp 42 months from now, including their 2018 ages in parentheses. Feel free to debate.
