Canada's going with Carey Price.
Mike Babcock, coach of the men's Olympic hockey team, told reporters the goalie from Anahim Lake, B.C. will be back in net for the team's quarterfinal game Thursday against the winner of Latvia-Switzerland.
Price played in Canada's opening game, a 3-1 win over Norway, and again in its final round-robin game, a 2-1 overtime win over Finland.
Roberto Luongo, clearly now the official backup, played one game, a 6-0 win over Austria.
As Price takes over the crease for Canada, it marks a likely shift in national goalie supremacy. Martin Brodeur was No. 1 for the 2002 and 2006 Games, while Luongo filled the role in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
