Sports gambling website Bovada has given Team Canada the best odds to claim gold next month at the Sochi Olympics.

Bovada has slotted Canada's odds of winning the gold medal at 2/1 in its first batch of odds released since men's hockey rosters were announced.

Russia is second at 9/4, with Sweden not far behind at 4/1. Rounding out the top five are the United States and Czech Republic at 6/1 and 10/1, respectively.

Unsurprisingly, Bovada see lightweights such as Austria and Slovenia as extreme longshots to win gold, giving both 1,000/1 odds.

The men's hockey portion of the Olympics starts up Feb. 12 and ends Feb. 23.
