Doubles star Daniel Nestor of Toronto will anchor the Canadian tennis team at the 2012 London Olympics.

Nestor, Milos Raonic of Thornhill, Ont., Vasek Pospisil of Vancouver and Aleksandra Wozniak of Blainville, Que., were named to the Canadian Olympic team Wednesday. Raonic and Wozniak will play singles while Nestor will team up with Pospisil for doubles.

"I'm very proud to be in a position where I can represent my country and hopefully bring back another medal," Nestor said. "It was quite a special feat winning Olympic gold in Sydney in 2000 and with the growth of tennis in our country, we all can have a chance to make Canada proud."

Raonic is ranked 21st in the world in singles while Wozniak is at No. 56, the cut-off point for the Olympics. Nestor and Max Mirnyi of Belarus are the top-ranked doubles team.
