LONDON - Seven members of the Cameroonian Olympic team disappeared from the Olympic Village and the London Metropolitan Police are on the lookout for them.

But neither London 2012 nor the International Olympic Committee are worried.

"We are watching the situation. I would say probably even more so than LOCOG we are a little bit one stage further back from this," said IOC spokesman Mark Adams. "Clearly at the moment the team has obviously raised a concern and the police are informed, but at this stage I don't think it is necessary for the IOC to be worried about whether they will or will not outstay their welcome."

LOCOG spokeswoman Jackie Brock-Doyle said they have visas to be in the country temporarily.
