VANCOUVER — Cheryl Bernard, who needed to make her last rock shots in the 10th end in her first two games and needed extra ends in her next two, got off easy and early here Sunday.
Bernard scored a 9-2 win over Debbie McCormick of the USA in a game conceded after the Calgarians scored three on the seventh end.
Bernard, Susan O'Connor, Carolyn Darbyshire and Cori Bartel, who meet China in Monday's late draw, are 5-0 and the only undefeated team remaining in the round robin.
Kevin Martin sits at 6-0 and plays Switzerland in the afternoon draw
