VANCOUVER — Cheryl Bernard and her Calgary curlers scored a 6-5 win in an extra end over previously undefeated Germany Thursday to go 3-0 for the Olympics so far.
Bernard moved into a tie for first place with defending Olympic gold-medal winner Anette Norberg of Sweden.
They’re the only two remaining undefeated teams in the women’s competition.
Edmonton’s Kevin Martin defeated previously unbeaten Sweden 7-3 in the morning to also go 3-0. Martin meets Thomas Ulsrud of France in the evening draw.
