The men's hockey game between Canada and Switzerland Thursday — seen by many as a tune-up for the Canadians, though it turned into a thriller — averaged 6.8 million viewers, CTV says.
Ratings peaked at 12 million during the shootout, during which Sidney Crosby scored the game winner.
