Name: Ian Cockerline Event: Luge Bio: Now in his seventh season on the World Cup, Cockerline has been working his way into the top-15 on the World Cup. Name: Justin Snith and Tristan Walker Event: Doubles luge Bio: This 19-year old duo isn't expected to do much more than gain experience in Vancouver. Their best finish was a 13th at Luge World Cup in Calgary in 2009. (Reuters)

Name: Pierre Leuders, Jesse Lumsden, Neville Wright, and Justin Kripps Event: 4-man bobsleigh Bio: Pierre Leuders is Canada's most decorated slider and the pilot of the Canada 2 sled in four-man event as he heads to his fifth Olympics Games. The 19-year veteran is captaining a sled of rookies this time around, and they've got one of the worlds best sliders to lean on in Vancouver. The quartet is definite medal threat. (Reuters)

Name: Melissa Hollingsworth Event: Skeleton Bio: Hollingsworth is no stranger to the Olympic medal podium heading into Vancouver. 2010 will be her second Olympic skeleton appearance. Name: Jeff Pain Event: Skeleton Bio: Pain, recognizable for his the 'angry beaver' he's had painted on his helmet, has competed for Canada in both the 2002 and 2006 Olympics. In 2006 he won a silver medal, behind fellow Canadian Duff Gibson. Name: Kaillie Humphries and Heather Moyse Event: 2-man bobsleigh Bio: While Vancouver will be Humphires' first Olympic appearance, Moyse suffered heartbreak in Turin when she and pilot Helen Upperton finished fourth. Name: Lascelles Brown and Lyndon Rush Event: 2-man bobsleigh Bio: After a falling out with iconic Canadian pilot Pierre Leuders, Jamaican-born Brown teames up with Rush to create the Canada-1 2-man sled. Rush won his first World Cup in January 2010 with Brown. (Canadian Press)
