Athlete: Eric Mitchell. Events: Large hill team. Bio: At 17 years old, Mitchell is the youngest male named to the entire Canadian Olympic team. He qualified for the Games at a Continental Cup meet Dec. 19 in Otepaa, Estonia. By making it to the Olympics, Mitchell also ensured Canada had the required number for the four-man team event. Athlete: Jason Myslicki. Events: Nordic combined; individual normal hill, individual large hill. Bio: Myslicki, a 22-year-old from Thunder Bay, will be competing in his second Olympics in Vancouver. In Turin, Myslicki and teammate Max Thompson became Canada's first Olympians in Nordic combined since Jon Servold in Calgary 1988. He finished 41st in his two events in 2006.
