Name: Jessica Gregg. Events: 500m, Relay. Bio: At only 21-years, old Gregg is one of the youngest members of the Canadian speed skating team. While she may be young, she has an impressive skating background as her mother was a speed skater, her father a former NHL player and her brother is a member of the Olympic long track team. Name: Guillaume Bastille. Events: 1500m, Relay. Bio: Bastille is a relative newcomer having only been on the short track team for two years. The 25-year old student has, however, made the most of his time with the group. Name: Valerie Maltais. Events: 1500m, Relay. Bio: At only 19-years old, Maltais is a junior skating star with only a couple years experience with the short track team. Name: Marianne St-Gelais. Events: 500m, Relay. Bio: St-Gelais won her first ever World Cup medal, a silver, in Vancouver in 2008. Team Canada named the 19-year old skater their 'Rising Star' and is expected to contend in both her events. (REUTERS)
